The Active English Lab: Speaking & Communication for Teens (Ages 15–18)

How the Course Works:

This 10-week program drops the desks and traditional grammar worksheets completely. We turn the classroom into an interactive language laboratory. Your teenager will experience zero passive lectures. Instead, every single session is an analog, hands-on communication challenge designed to get them talking, laughing, and thinking on their feet in English.

Each week features a high-utility, real-world task:

• The 90-Second Conversation Relay: A fast-paced, high-energy communication grid where students must keep dynamic dialogues alive without letting the conversation stall or drop into silence.
• The Transit Crisis Simulation: Transforming the classroom into international airport desks and hotel counters. Students learn to independently negotiate transit delays and articulate dietary requirements.
• The 60-Second Interview Pitch: Students learn to package their personal hobbies and practical skills into a polished, energetic verbal introduction tailored for future summer jobs or study abroad programs.
• Advanced Rhetoric & Media Councils: Moving beyond basic descriptive words into sharp, critical language to review media, debate trending topics, and voice strong arguments.

No heavy academic background or prior preparation is required—just an eagerness to build bulletproof communication confidence in English.

I am a senior EFL Teacher and Academic Leader with over 20 years of vast international experience across England and Ukraine. Holding a Specialist’s degree in Education (English Language and Foreign Literature), my career spans prestigious institutions like Bell English in Cambridge and St Albans and major corporate tech firms. As a former Director of Studies (DoS) and Academic Manager, I do not just teach English, I design the syllabi, train the faculties, and shape the educational frameworks that empower learners. My core educational philosophy is that language should never be studied in isolation. I am a qualified PTE Young Learners examiner with a proven track record of coaching students through high-stakes international exams, including IELTS, TOEFL, FCE, CAE, and CPE.
